Le Canot is one of the Cours des Dames restaurants in La Rochelle. They serve cheap seafood, grilled meats and fish, mussels (between € 8.50 and € 10.50), pizzas, salads, etc.. It's a pretty nice place if you´re looking for a restaurant specializing in French cuisine during the summer. I ate there once and didn´t seem half bad. However, in my opinion, the the Cours des Dames restaurants are not the best restaurants in La Rochelle. For the same amount of money you can eat better in other places.
