La Bonissima

This restaurant is located in the historic centre of Modena, in one of those streets where you can really just breathe in the essence of the history and cuisine of Emilia. The restaurant isn't too big, with two rooms kitted out with rustic furniture. But the atmosphere is really special - you'll feel like you're in the country house of your Italian grandparents! The cuisine is all typical local specialties, with tortellini and tortelloni (handmade), tigelle and T-bone steak (reservation only). The salted pork and cream of asparagus is great, too. I highly recommend this. Good value for money, too.
