A charming hotel between Tarragona and Reus
This is not a restaurant or hotel or shop or olive grove: it’s all in one and a really beautiful place. The fact is that La Boella, located halfway between Tarragona and Reus, is a 110-hectare olive grove that produces extra virgin olive oil and hosts weddings, communions, and other events in their gardens and ancient cellars.
Although my visit consisted only of an oil tasting (to learn the secrets of this liquid gold), I was showed around some of its facilities and came home with another charming hotel to add to my bucket list.
To add even more to the overall cuteness, there are two nice little hotels located in the center of the complex. There are thirteen rooms in total, divided into modern and the classic, and look like they’d make for a really blissful stay. If you can afford it (about 210€/night) I’d consider the suite. It occupies the entire top floor and has a terrace overlooking the estate.
