Overlooking the beach of La Salve, on the edge of the bay of Laredo is La Atalaya, offering different routes with stunning views of the village, beach and marshes. You can access it from the Puebla Vieja, either by road or by the 135 steps located next to the Church of Santa Maria. The centuries-old military fortifications bear witness to the historic and strategic importance of the town.
