La Alquería de Morayma

Ésta es una opción muy recomendable para alojarse en familia o en grupo. Aunque reacondicionada, la antigua alquería guarda detalles de otra época y se halla en un enclave muy bello de la Alpujarra granadina, rodeada de treinta hectáreas de almendros, viñas, higueras, olivos y frutales. Sus habitaciones, sencillas pero muy alegres y cómodas, tienen en su mayoría vistas a la sierra y al gran jardín, donde hay juegos para niños y una piscina. Además, el hotel dispone de apartamentos independientes con patio privado. En el restaurante de la Alquería se sirven muy buenas comidas caseras. No te pierdas las migas, las gachas y la variedad de pucheros.

En ambos la decoración nos acoge entre madera, piedra y poesía, elementos fundamentales en la historia de La Alpujarra de Granada. En la terraza se pueden disfrutar de amplias vistas a Sierra Nevada, especialmente agradables en las frescas cenas del verano o en los cálidos almuerzos invernales. En otoño y primavera la explosión de color de Sierra Nevada y los paisajes de la Alpujarra granadina son impresionantes.

In the restaurant of the Farmhouse of Morayma you can taste the traditional food of the Alpujarra in the most natural and respecting the recipes we have received from the tradition of this region of Granada. The restaurant consists of two dining rooms, one with bar and fireplace. In both the decor welcomes us between wood, stone and poetry, key elements in the history of La Alpujarra of Granada. On the terrace you can enjoy sweeping views of the Sierra Nevada, especially nice in the cool summer dinners or lunches in the warm winter. In autumn and spring color blast Sierra Nevada and Alpujarras landscapes are breathtaking.

Este establecimiento se encuentra enclavado en un paraje espectacular. Sierra Nevada y las Alpujarras lo envuelven todo con su aire centenario y hasta cierto punto auténtico. Sin embargo su restaurante dejó mucho que desear en nuestra reciente visita; la comida no estuvo a la altura de nuestras expectativas y resultó doblemente frustrante dado que el local prometía y su fama lo precedía. Con la sensación de haber sido engañados, mis acompañantes y yo hemos determinado no volver por allí.
