The photos are of the Japanese city of Kyoto where tradition mixes with exoticism and culture. The abundance of temples and manicured gardens should be mentioned. It differs significantly from cities like Tokyo, the cosmopolitan capital of "technology." Interesting to visit temples, gardens and shops.
Japan is certainly one of the top tourist destinations, and Kyoto is perhaps the most beautiful and historic place in all of Japan. The juxtaposition of old and new is no better demonstrated than by evening traffic passing underneath a massive torii gate with religious significance. Truly a place dreams are made of for tourists and photographers alike.
Walking around in the gorgeous Zen monastery in the Gion district was so moving, so beautiful, I felt inspired to capture the moment.
