Kungsgatan
Kungsgatan, the "Street King", is a very lively shopping street in Stockholm. It is near to the Kungsbron bridge and Stureplan square, which is the meeting point of the fashionable young people to go out to nightclubs and restaurants at the weekend. In the heart of the City, in the business district and city banks, Kungsgatan is distinguished by its tall buildings, which measure more than 60 meters in height. There are two major bridges on the street that are actually high streets that intersect with Kungsgatan. There is also Hötorget, which is a square with a nice underground market (Hotorgshallen), with stalls selling fruit, vegetables and flowers, but also on certain days antiques and flea markets.
It's where Konserhuset building is - a classical concert hall. In the way of restaurants, there are not many, it is rather a place for shopping, unless you go to Stureplan, which offers a good selection for lunch and dinner. The bridges across Kungsgatan each have sculptures depicting the king which are very impressive.
