Kottbusser Tor

Kottbusser Tor is a Berlin neighborhood that forms part of Kreuzber. The neighborhood had a bad reputation especially at night but it is slowly becoming a nice neighborhood with a bohemian touch. Many art galleries and designers located their offices here. Kottbusser Tor was one of the ancient southern gates of Berlin. The road then led to Cottbus. It is very lively because it has a strong Turkish population. There are markets, lots of oriental restaurants, and everywhere decorative details that make you think of the Middle East.
