Kobuk Valley Jade Company

The Kobuk Valley Jade Company is a mix of a shop and a museum, located in downtown Girdwood. Alaska has some of the largest deposits of jade in the world and it is therefore one of the most used stones in local art. This place showcases the wonderful ways in which they work with jade. They also have a lot of art made of ivory and whale bone. Outside the building is a beautiful totem.
