Kláipeda Castle Museum

To the west of the town you will find the remains of the ancient castle of the city, formerly protected by a moat. The museum is housed in the only surviving tower and tells the story of the castle between the thirteenth and seventeenth centuries. The building is hard to find because its location is very hidden. Throughout the exhibition you can find numerous objects from various centuries for example small findings that were left by the inhabitants of the castle from its rising around 1252.
