Kjeåsen Farm

Very few miles separate Kjeåsen farm's nice from the busy town Eidfjiord and yet when you get there you can access one of the most isolated corners of this fjord. It's almost as if the original inhabitants had chosen a site of exceptional beauty to simply turn their the world and live at their leisure. It is said that there has been a farm in this area of ​​Eidfjord for the last 400 years. The interesting thing is that the road that conneconts it to the rest of the world has only been open since the 70s. Until then, the only access to Kjeåsen was on foot through a very narrow and awkward mountain pass.
