Kings Courtyard and Obelisk

Climbing these stairs is almost better than descending them because you get to see the Shrine of Nossa Senhora dos Remedios . Apart from the great view of the center of the city, which includes the steps, you'll come across a big patio called dos Reis, or Patio de los Reyes. Its admirable architectural work was performed on the Fountain of the Giants . In the middle of which stands a 15 meter tall obelisk.
