Historic town on Route 66
Kingman is a small historic town in Arizona that is closely related to the famous Route 66. From here starts one of the sections that still remains intact after it was officially discontinued in 1985, recently rescued as a historic and picturesque road route. Kingman also is closely related with railways. As soon as you arrive, you'll see a Locomotive Park exhibiting several ancient examples, in perfect condition. Moreover, the activity on the tracks is constant and load formations are endless. There is the Powerhouse Visitor Centre, a former power station, and there is a scale model that runs inside.
