King Solomon Hotel
On my trip to London this summer I stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. We chose this hotel because it was one of the cheapest accommodations with a bathroom inside the room. It worked out 70 € for a double room, breakfast included. The hotel is located in zone 3 of London, half an hour by metro from the city center. There is a metro station and bus station 10 minutes walk away and several bus stops nearby. The neighborhood in which it is located (Golder's Green), is a quiet neighborhood with many shops and restaurants, very nice and cheaper than downtown. The room we had was quite small, but that was not important.
The furniture was old and the room overlooked the main road. The bathroom was small too, with a tiny shower stall. Breakfast consisted of a buffet with toast, butter and jam, scrambled eggs and some nice salads as nice, cucumber or tomato, and coffee. The hotel staff was friendly.
