A hidden gem
The King County Arts Commission is located in the city of Seattle. What started as a mere handful of tables in a hallway now is a well-lit, 700-square-foot jewel within the building of the famous Smith Tower in Seattle. Since 1979, the gallery has hosted works by more than 300 artists, with everything from oil painting and sculpture to works using a "Daisy-a-Meal" stamp. A hidden gem in the Seattle art scene, this place should not be missed.
