Kilmory Church
The village of Kilmory consists of the church and some houses nothing more, which makes the way of life, especially the smaller ones rather curious. There is no playground, no spaces or anything like it. So the meeting place is the church and the playground and instead of rides ... its cemetery. We were quite surprised to see children playing in the cemetery with a naturalness, more than amazing. But even we were surprised at its innocence, one of their games was to spread flowers on the gravestones that had many or some to which had none ... something like a tomb A flower! The church and cemetery are gorgeous reminiscent of the typical architecture of the islands in earlier times.
Small and local, built (and restored) with materials from the island itself, not a place most recommended when you ask for information on Arran. We found out about itwhen we talked to some local old people and they recommended that we made a visit there. And we thank them for this, I am doing the same that they did for me, but this community which is minube.
