Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre

Rwanda did a respectful job at remembering the lives lost in the genocide. The memorial takes you through the history to have an understanding so these tragedies do not happen again. They also show how history does repeat itself by walking through all the genocides in this world like the holocaust.

There are plenty of moments throughout the memorial to remember the lives of the victims of the genocide from pictures of their lives, and what the children were like. The Genocide is a recent part of Rwanda's history, and is good to read and visit to understand how far they have come from
