Magnificent
Kiama is a village on Australia's eastern coast, about eighty miles south of Sydney, in New South Wales (NSW). It has seven beautiful beaches, perfect for surfing (supposedly the best beaches in Australia are within four hundred miles north and south of Sydney), like Kendalls Beach, Surf Beach and Bombo Beach. Also, you can visit the Buderoo National Park, close to the village where there is a waterfall, a forest and the Minnamurra River, a river where you can fish and do other water sports. But for me, the most impressive thing about Kiama was not its magnificent beaches and beautiful surroundings, but its blowhole.
The Blowhole is a rather curious phenomenon that occurs in the cliffs close to the rocky village. Over the centuries, these rocks have been eroded by the sea and the weather until they created some holes through which waves pass with great force when it's windy. It's a must-see show, especially when there's wind.
