Khokeng Hotel

Buon punto di riferimento per i viaggiatori low budget a [poi=92731]Trang[/poi], questo hotel ha l'entrata su una via laterale al iale della torre dell'orologio da dove però potrete seguire la segnaletica per raggiungerlo. Lasciate perdere l'altro piccolo hotel prima della via del Khokeng (ci hanno praticamente fatto capire che non volevano stranieri...) e scegliete questa alternativa: le camere doppie/matrimoniali con bagno partono da 180 baht e salgono fino a circa 400 baht, sono abbastanza pulite e silenziose. Ovviamente le camere più economiche si trovano al terzo piano e naturalmente non c'è l'ascensore, quindi preparatevi ad una bella sfacchinata. L'hotel è conoscito anche per il suo ristorante con ingresso sul viale principale, ma la domenica è chiuso!

Good reference point for low budget travelers in Trang, this hotel has its own entrance on a side street to ial of the clock tower from where, however, you can follow the signs to get there. Forget the other small hotel before because of Khokeng (they pretty much made it clear that they did not want foreigners ...) and choose this alternative: the double / twin rooms with bath start at 180 baht and go up to about 400 baht, are quite clean and quiet. Obviously the cheaper rooms are located on the third floor, and of course there is no elevator, so be prepared for a trek. The hotel is also conoscito for its restaurant entrance on the main street, but is closed on Sundays!
