Kehl

The German city of Kehl is on the right bank of the Rhine and the same height as Strasbourg, France. Only the river separates them and you can cross from one to another through the Europe Bridge and through one again with a huge metal structure attached by straps. The neighborhood is on the river bank and the houses showcase the high purchasing power of their owners. There is a beautiful park with lush vegetation and a small river just between that spot and the the Rhine neighborhood.

La petite ville de Kehl est située à la frontière franco-allemande, à quelques minutes à pieds du centre-ville de Strasbourg. On peut y accéder donc très facilement, seulement en traversant un pont. La ville n'a elle-même que très peu d'attrait mais on peut toutefois y faire son shopping à bas pris ou avoir du moins un avant goût de la culture allemande si on s'arrête pour y déjeuner.

The small town of Kehl is located on the Franco-German border, a few minutes walk from the city center of Strasbourg. It can be accessed very easily, only by crossing a bridge. The city itself has very little appeal but may, however, go shopping at low cost or have at least a taste of German culture if we stop for lunch.
