With my 25 kilo backpack left the small Kazan hostel where I was staying and continued along the transmongolia route that I started in Moscow. At -19 ° C, and without being familiar with the city, I started walking and I was walking the streets randomly. After awhile, an old man told me which way to go to get to the Kremlin. Within minutes, the snow was almost waist deep as I was trying to reach the Qol-Sarif mosque at the top of a mountain.
