Kames Bay

Kames Bay is right at the back or exit of Millport, just before reaching the bay and beach of Fintry. It's a pretty rocky island cove with beautiful views of the Arran Islands, which supposedly, according to locals, is particularly spectacular during a storm. It must be true because just after arriving, the weather changed. Before, there was a light breeze, then a few meters later, the winds were very strong, even in mid August (summertime) made us feel cold.
