Breathtaking scenery
Spanning more than 6500 square kilometers around the Grand Canyon, with thousands of trees and breathtaking scenery, the Kaibab National Forest is one of the largest in the world. "Formalized" in 1909, it's an impressive sight, particularly if you take a helicopter flight over the region. It covers a portion of the north shore of the canyon, which is much less touristy than the South Rim. We love this expanse of green, which breaks abruptly to give way to the breathtaking canyon.
