Pedestrian bridge
The courthouse walkway is a pedestrian bridge as the name suggests, cross the Rhone, at the height of the passage de l'Argue and Brest Street to reach the neighborhood of Vieux Lyon, in front of the courthouse . There was a first bridge at this point in 1638, with ten arches to support the weight of passersby, but the waters, the current of the Rhone are very strong, and the river destroyed the bridge in 1778.
