Kannur to Kochi Train

During all our rail travel experience in India, we travel in 2nd class and compared one type of coach with another, we travelled like kings. The air conditioning is always on very high power... The toilets on trains are an adventure ... you have to go in the the first hour or when they've just been cleaned in transit. One thing that struck us was the smell of India, both delicious and unbearable. In two seconds you can go from intoxicating smells of either spices, jasmine, or the most disgusting food that your nose has ever smelled ... A curious thing is that when you get home, there comes a time that you miss this...
