José Ignacio

In March 2011 I had the opportunity to climb the lighthouse in Jose Ignacio, a town within the Department of Maldonado in Uruguay, known for hosting large residences of celebrities mostly from neighboring Argentina. Various famous people were there, including Marcelo Tinelli, Mirtha Legrand, Valeria Massa and others. José Ignacio is bathed in Atlantic waters. It is right on the shores of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, in the department of Maldonado, bordered by the department of Rocha. It is a town that for years was hidden, waiting for large global showbiz personalities was elected to rest there.
