This center can be visited just like the Kennedy Space center at Cape Canaveral. It has a museum, visit the operations center, where you can see the groundstaff working away through the glass screen with the aerotransbordadores and weightlessness huge room with a giant sealed hatch. You move through the facilities with a kind of vehicle.

I had only had my new camera, a Nikon DSLR, for a few months when I shot this photo. The lighting conditions were difficult and I didn't have a lot of experience shooting at night, especially with such a difficult subject. So I adjusted the settings until I liked the result. It was real 'hands-on training.' I learned so much through trial and error that evening. It gave me the confidence to get out there and explore more difficult subjects and situations, and as a result, I have grown much as a photographer.
NASA is a little slice of Texan heritage and pride. This is an unmissable cultural stop, very spacious and interesting. I couldn't have missed out on this great tourist attraction!
