Jiangnan Dadao (Wedding Dress Street)

The street Jiangnan Dadao Bei (which in Chinese is 江南 大道 北) is a strange street as it is famous for being a street where most stores (if not all) sell bridal gowns. Although many Chinese people get married in western clothes Chinese tradition says that the bride should wear red on her wedding day because it is the color of luck, therefore you will find many shops with traditional costumes and outfit hybrids that mix western patterns with red Chinese tradition.
