Jewel Lake

Jewel Lake is one of the best places to swim in the summer. It's as close to a beach as we have, and though it's nothing like the Costa Blanca beaches, I really enjoyed it. It has a very large park for playing volleyball, for picnicing and for barbequing. Many people bring kayaks or boats to get around the lake. It is an ideal place to come and spend an afternoon with the family. In the winter the lake freezes and it is used as a skating rink.
