Java
In 2006, when we went to Bali, we also went to Java. I couldn't believe how nice the people there were, and not just that, but they way they live. They don't need anything, as they are used to living with very little. Life there is not expensive because the standard of living is much lower than what we know. You can eat for just € and buy all kinds of imitations even in malls. They are so amazing that there are even people who live there at the top of volcanoes, under four plates, without fear of volcano, is also amazing how big is the difference of money in there, while in Jakarta see huge buildings with all kinds of luxuries, barely a few feet of them there are people living along the river with absolutely nothing.
We cost volcanoes reach from Jakarta about 3 hours or so, but certainly worth being there, contemplating that. Culture are also different in people of Java and Bali despite being from the same country, while in Java are Muslims, on Bali are Indus, which also surprised me, since they are not so far from each other, in order, so if I have clear is that it is an amazing journey to do if only once in life.
