Jardín Shazdeh

Este pequeño jardín, que representa un auténtico oasis, está muy cerca del pueblo de Mahan en Kerman. Es un jardín rectangular donde el agua juega el papel más importante. Desde que entras un estrecho canal te recibe y acompaña a medida que vas subiendo hacia el edificio principal. Este agua viene de la montaña cercana y su corriente natural es debido a la inclinación del terreno y los escalones en las que se ha construido este tranquilo jardín. Este agua es llevada de nuevo hasta la fuente que se encuentra en el fondo del jardín y que es la que surte al resto. Es lugar de encuentro en las tardes-noches de las familias iraníes, donde niños y niñas corretean por el fresco lugar. Forma parte de la lista de Patrimonio de la Humanidad bajo la denominación común de El jardín persa.
