Cheap restaurant with good Portuguese stew and wines
This restaurant is a bit difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area, it is in a lovely setting surrounded by mountains, vineyards and nature and I found it by asking a native Portuguese person, which we were grateful for, because we loved it. The restaurant is about 6 km from Melgaco and has been serving customers mostly Portuguese, for over 36 years, and what attracts you is its food, its environment and their great prices. The house specialty is the Portuguese stew, very similar to ours but without chickpeas, cod and kid. It has a big selection of homemade desserts traditional of the region and its wine cellar was awarded for their high quality of Albariño wines.
