Jaisalmer es una las ciudades del rajasthan mas emblemática y mística de la india, una ciudad separada por una frontera natural, el desierto de Pakistán. En el horizonte sobre una colina se alza un majestuoso fuerte construido con piedra amarilla que al atardecer le da una aspecto de oro, de hay que le llamen la ciudad de oro. Cuando traspasas sus puertas te trasladas cientos de años atrás, andar por sus calles es una experiencia única, sus calles, tiendas, mercadillos palacios, templos, sus gentes, sus olores y aromas te hacen sentir la autentica india, sus gente sus vestimentas,sus costumbre parecen congelados en el tiempo, cada mirada cada rincón cada calle hablan por si mismo el tiempo se detiene y no pasan las horas, algo mágico y místico, una paleta de colores y de luces que no puede pasar ajeno a tu objetivo, relajarte y dejarte llevar por las sensaciones la cámara hará el resto, eso si lleva te muchas tarjetas y de gran capacidad para conseguir la máxima calidad, yo no lo hice y me arrepentí.. Pero bueno las llevo en la memoria de mi cabeza con olores y sensaciones incluida...Espero transmitir con mis imagenes lo que yo sentí...

Sin duda alguna para mí, es el mejor monumento en el que he estado en toda mi vida. Pero dudo muchísimo que ninguno de estos tenga la magia, el embrujo y la capacidad de encantamiento de este. Ya no son sus siglos de antigüedad, mas de 6, tampoco lo original de su construcción que cuida el más mínimo detalle, rincón o esquinita, ni de que antaño fué una de las ciudades con más esplendor del centro de Asia por ser uno de los epicentros de la famosísima "ruta de la seda", lo que nos llama la atención de este maravilloso fuerte. Hoy en día nos deja fascinados por otras miles de razones mas reales..: Cuando uno llega se queda embobado en cuanto lo vé. Te atrae como ún imán hacia él. Te hipnotiza de tal manera que todo lo que ves y escuchas está borroso y entre-cortado, como en "off", hasta que no entras en el. Y una vez entras.....Tus sensaciones explotan de tal manera que te hacen sentir una persona nueva en un mundo nuevo. Después de muchos meses en India, un país sin igual, os aconsejo que, lo único que no os podéis perder(en cuanto a monumentos) es esta maravilla arquitectónica, hoy en día ya declarada "world heritage" para el resto de nuestra existencia.

Construit au milieu du XIIème siècle, le fort de Jaisalmer est le principal monument de la ville, absolument incontournable. Il constitue en effet à lui seul l’intégralité du centre-ville, entouré par ses impressionnants remparts crénelés, longs de plus de 5 kilomètres. A l’intérieur du fort, la circulation est interdite aux voitures et seulement autorisée aux piétons, aux tuk-tuk et… aux vaches ! On y trouve de nombreuses petites boutiques, des petits hôtels (que l’on privilégiera sans hésitation aux hôtels hors du centre-ville), et des ruelles pleines de charme…

Jaisalmer reste pour moi le plus beau souvenir de l'Inde. La ville dorée, située à l'entrée du désert du Thar, est dominée par une forteresse aux dimensions impressionnantes. La ville date du 12ème siècle et fait bien sûr partie du patrimoine mondial de l'humanité. Le fort est une enceinte protégeant une ville médiévale, très sale malheureusement, aux nombreuses ruelles qui donnent l'impression d'être dans un labyrinthe. De nombreux temples, maisons, et bien sûr le palais viennent sublimer ce vaste espace. Il y a de nombreuses possibilités de souvenirs, de logements ou de restauration dans l'enceinte même du fort, dont l'accès est gratuit.

La forteresse de Jaisalmer, remparts couleur sable bâtis sur une colline couleur sable, est assurément un des musts d'un voyage au Rajasthan. Ville fortifiée sur la Route de la Soie. C'est une des merveilles de l'Inde, merveille que je n'oublierai pas. Jaisalmer en compte d'autres avec ses palais que sont les "havelis", au nombre de trois "majeures".

Il ne faudra pas oublier de pousser au bout de toutes les rues pour déboucher sur des coins plus tranquilles et authentiques.

La forteresse de Jaisalmer est vraiment un endroit fascinant à explorer! L'architecture est vraiment superbe particulièrement le Raj Mahal. On se sent vraiment ailleurs dans ce dédale de petites rues étroites remplies d'échoppes de toutes sortes. Sublime!
