Hotel close to the beach
We chose the Hotel Jaime I because we were traveling with two small children, and we'd heard good things about the playground and pools. Once there, we found that, yes, the facilities were very good, but on the other hand, the room was missing a plug, the bathroom mirror was skew, there wasn't much space to put our things in the bathroom (just a small shelf), there were no hangers for the towels, the furniture was old, and the crib shabby. Now I must say, I complained on arrival about all of this, and a maintenance man came quickly to fix the plug and the mirror, and later changed the crib. As the stay continued, we saw other things we didn't like: the buffet food was good but monotonous, the drinks were expensive with the meals (2.75 euros for a 1.5 liter bottle of water seems absurd!), there were no little bottles of shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, there were a few unfriendly staff members (although I should say, they were exceptions).
