Prefieren, acertadamente, disfrutar del día a día, sin prisas, meditando y rezando, haciendo ofrendas en lugares tan especiales como este templo urbano. Y eso que fue, como muchos templos de la isla, levantado en la década de 1970, en un furor religioso constructivo y en honor a Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, el Dios supremo, para el que existe, como también en la mayoría de los templos, un gran asiento de roca que ocupa en los momentos en que es honrado. El templo es famoso, porque en luna llena y nueva se llena de fieles hasta rebosar, al igual que en Kajeng Kliwon, que cae cada 15 días en el calendario balinés.
