Sinceramente acudimos a este restaurante al ver la recomendación de "Chari Viajera", diciendo...Pues vamos a probar la gran hamburguesa que nombran. Al llegar al sitio te da la impresión de volver al pasado, a los 80....El ambiente y la decoración ayudan a ello. Es un sitio acogedor, agradable y donde se come buena carne. Como veis en una de las fotos la hamburguesa casi es más grande que mi cabeza. Recomiendo que acudáis pues es una experiencia única y os va a gustar, de verdad...La hamburguesa estaba tremenda.

Fui a Nueva York en julio de este año,y le preguntamos a un guia de una de nuestras excursiones,donde podíamos comer las mejores hamburguesas de Nueva York. Lo primero que nos dijo,es que nos fijaramos en los lugares donde comian policias,que allí se comía bien. Y lo segundo,y no dudo ni un momento,fue indicarnos su hamburgueseria favorita, Jackson Hole. Nos dijo que es uno de los mejores lugares donde preparaban hamburguesas,que es un sitio que no estaba explotado turisticamente,pero que estaba empezando a despuntar entre los turistas. Vamos no me arrepiento para nada de haberme comido esa bomba calorica que se puede ver en mis fotos,es sin duda,la mejor hamburguesa que he comido.Sin duda volvería a repetir en Jackson Hole!

Era nuestro cuarto día en Nueva York y nos moríamos por comer una auténtica American Burger. Alguien nos había dicho que si queríamos probar las mejores hamburguesas de Nueva York buscáramos el 'Agujero de Jackson' y por fin lo encontramos. Sentados en una mesa de buen tamaño, junto a una gramola con los mejores éxitos del pop y rock americano, nos costó un rato decidir entre las opciones de la carta. La foto habla por si sola, como podréis ver. Nada que ver con los burgers de comida rápida que tenemos por aquí y por allí. Recomendable 100%, junto con una buena "Coke" y unos aros de cebolla.

It was our fourth day in New York and we were dying to eat a real American Burger. Someone had told us that if we wanted to try the best burgers in New York we were looking for the 'Jackson Hole' and finally found it. Seated at a table of good size, with a jukebox with all the best American rock and pop, it took a while to decide between the options of the card. The picture speaks for itself, as you can see. Nothing to do with fast food burgers we have here and there. 100% recommended, along with a good "Coke" and some onion rings.

Fuimos por recomendación de un amigo y porque lo habíamos visto en mi nube. Queríamos probar comida muy americana y sobre todo disfrutar de una buena carne, y no nos defraudó. Queríamos saber si realmente eran tan grandes como decían y Siiiii. Increíble, casi exploto, pero jamás me arrepentiré de haberme metido entre pecho y espalda ese pedazo de plato ( poco recomendable para la cena, a no ser que des un buen paseo antes de ir a la cama).

Soy un apasionado de las hamburguesas, para que negarlo. Es una adicción que tiene mucha gente, como mi amigo Gonzalo Moreno. Toda esa suculenta carne acompañada de salsas, queso, bacon envuelta en un estupendo y apetitoso pan...Se me hace la boca agua. Cada vez que voy a un país intento probar las hamburguesas que preparan, así como es parada obligatoria los Burger King. Nueva York me sorprendió en el primer caso pero en el segundo me dio calabazas. El Burger King no le llegaba a los talones de las que preparan en la cadena en nuestro país. Así que para resarcirme no me quedó más remedio que acudir a la que se vende como la hamburguesa más grande y sabrosa de la Gran Manzana. No fue fácil llegar porque de nuestro hotel en la 8ª la 4ª hay un paseo bastante considerable, pero eso sirvió para abrirnos el apetito aún más. Por fuera parece uno de esos bares que aparecen en las películas de Nueva york, con sus neones, grandes cristaleras y el menú en la puerta. pero dentro nos espera una atmósfera de lo más acogedora. Un amplio local de paredes forradas en madera y ladrillo visto, con grandes y pequeños carteles de bebidas refrescantes, comidas y golosinas, diminutas jukeboxs, carteles de películas y recuerdos para mitómanos del Sueño Americano, nos abre los brazos para que vivamos la experiencia de una auténtica hamburguesa a lo americano. Según entramos vemos recortes de periódicos y revistas que ensalzan las virtudes y sabores de las famosas hamburguesas de Jackson's Hole. Según parece, cientos de famosos no han podido resistirse a llenarse la panza en este restaurante y eso no se lo podemos reprochar. Porque la historia de lo que ya es una marca, empezó con su primer restaurante en 1972. Le han seguido seis locales más que prácticamente cubren, como una red la totalidad de Manhattan. Famoso es sobre todo por sus enormes hamburguesas de 7 onzas, es decir 200 gramos de carne que antes de pedir parece poco peso, pero cuando llega a la mesa acompañada de toda la tropa de su batallón en el plato hace que nos traguemos nuestras palabras junto con ella. Por supuesto que pedí esa hamburguesa gigante, como no, un pedazo de carne molida fresca bien sazonada y pasada por la plancha hasta llegar a su punto perfecto, con una guarnición de bacon, queso, cebolla, lechuga y una espectacular y sabrosa salsa. El pan estaba realmente fresco y entre crujiente y esponjoso; y que decir de las patatas que lo acompañaban...realmente exquisitas. Un delicioso batido de vainilla ayudaba a bajar la comida, mientras veíamos otros platos que llegaban a las mesas vecinas y que son una buena opción para quien no guste del delicioso emparedado. Por nuestro lado desfilaron delicias como The Bronco, deliciosos trozos de pollo frito o asado, South of the Border, sabrosos burritos, fajitas y nachos, o sencillas pero vistosas tortillas y huevos revueltos. Todos por supuesto en tamaño gigante, que para eso estamos en América. Salimos del restaurante con la sensación de haber cumplido una suculenta misión y caminando por las calles de Nueva York como si estuviéramos en avanzado estado de gestación. Si es que América es muy grande...Demasiado.

Es nuestro quinto día en NY y queríamos comer una buena burguer así que hemos hecho caso de la recomendación y ha sido una excelente experiencia. Buena comida, raciones gigantes y el servicio súper agradable. Una joya el sitio. Tienes además juke box pequeñas donde pones la música que quieres.

No se me olvidará fácilmente esa pedazo de hamburguesa que nos comimos en Jackson's Hole, se me saltan las lágrimas solo de recordarlo. El local es como su no nombre indica: un agujero maravilloso, donde lo primero que te encuentras al entrar es al cocinero delante de la parrilla con un buen trozo de carne picada, que al final terminará en tu plato.

I can not easily forget that piece of burger we ate at Jackson's Hole, I shed tears just thinking. The place is as its name suggests a hole not wonderful, where the first people you meet when you enter is the cook in front of the grill with a good piece of beef that you end up on your plate.

Leí las recomendaciones y me animé a ir. Después de andar un buen rato lo encontramos y la verdad: genial. Sitio con peculiar decoración, servicio impecable, raciones muy completas y hamburguesas muy buenas. Vale la pena ir un día a comer, para cenar creo que es demasiada comida.
