Isola Rossa: picturesque beach in northern Sardinia

This pretty village is located in northern Sardinia (in the Olbia-Tempio province to be exact) and named after the red-colored coastal cliffs with their 16th-century Spanish tower overlooking the sea. Sun, sea, and sky

Isola Rossa is a small village in front of Castelsardo in Sardinia. A 16th-century Aragonese tower still looks over the bay containing a small untouched island which has lent its name to the village. These days, fishing is no longer the main industry in the town, but there is still a small, scenic marina. Even in June, this little village is quiet and there’s nothing to do but enjoy the sun, the sea, and the sky.

White sand beaches

Isola Rossa is considered by many mainland Italian and international tourist to be one of the best beaches in Sardinia. In fact, Isola Rossa has become a very touristy little town between Castelsardo and Santa Teresa di Gallura and is famous for its white sand beaches and clear waters.
