Este lago, à saída de Byron Bay era uma antiga pedreira. Há alguns anos atrás enquanto ainda funcionava, foi encontrada uma fonte de água que encheu todo o vazio já sem pedras, e criou este lago de água doce.
Rodeado por precipícios 270º, as alturas das pedras em volta do lago variam entre os 6m e os 24m.
O interessante deste lago de grande profundidade (mais de 10m) é o facto de se poder saltar de todos os lados em segurança, e de a temperatura da água estar nos seus 24º!
É um programa alternativo à praia, que se pode fazer debaixo de sol ou de chuva torrencial!

This lake, just outside Byron Bay was an old quarry. A few years ago while still working, found a source of water that filled all empty now without stones, and created this freshwater lake. Surrounded by cliffs 270, the heights of the rocks around the lake vary between 6m and 24m. Interestingly, this deep pond (over 10m) is the fact that you can skip all sides in safety, and the temperature of the water is in its 24th! It is an alternative program to the beach, you can do under the sun or pouring rain! Either way ... it takes courage!
