Installazione Lumache

Passando per caso in Piazza XXIV Maggio, ho notato la presenza un po' strana di lumache giganti colorate, prese d'assalto sia dai bambini che dagli adulti. Questa buffa installazione è opera del gruppo Cracking Art, un gruppo costituito da artisti internazionali che creano opere d'arte utilizzando materiali riciclati e con soggetti quasi sempre legati al mondo della natura. Le lumache sono senza dubbio un simbolo: esse rappresentano la giusta lentezza che porta alla meta finale, al contrario della frenesia che caratterizza la nostra odierna società. L'installazione è molto divertente e questi animali sono un po' sparsi per la piazza in colori sgargianti. Il materiale è plastica, quindi resistente e nello stesso tempo adatto per un luogo all'aperto. Trovo l'idea delle lumache quasi geniale: passandoci a fianco, non solo rimani colpito dalla bellezza di questi animali, ma recepisci anche il messaggio di "slow down". Un motivo in più per rilassarsi lunga la vicina Darsena!

Turning to the case in Piazza XXIV Maggio, I noticed the presence a bit 'strange giant snails colored, besieged by children and by adults. Snails are undoubtedly a symbol: they represent the right slowness which leads to the final goal, in contrast to the frenzy that characterizes our society today. I find the idea of ​​snails almost ingenious: passing alongside, not only remain struck by the beauty of these animals, but also recepisci the message "slow down". Queste lumache giganti si trovano in giro per Milano ma, in particolare, ricordo di averne vista qualcuna all’interno del giardino delle Gallerie d’Italia, museo della città. In realtà all’interno erano presenti anche altre installazioni rappresentanti altri tipi di animali (dagli uccelli ai lupi).
