    Innsbruck

Close to the border with Germany and Switzerland, Innsbruck is the capital of the popular Tyrol region. In the heart of the Austrian Alps, reaching it by car is a treat for those who like driving and sightseeing. Winding roads through towering mountains and green landscapes. Once there, Innsbruck looks gorgeous from the top of the hill. The city, much more alive at night than a Spaniard is used to finding in the rest of Europe, it is warm and cheerful. Known worldwide for ski jumping championships and for its spectacular ski slopes, it is a good place to soak up the local culture. A highly desirable city.

It is not difficult to find other Spanish tourists walking the streets at dusk.

Small town at the foot of the Alps

This city at the foot of the Alps is a little gem semi unknown. If you are looking for other monuments and not interested, but if you want an alpine environment, to walk around and see in the surrounding villages you visit. We spent a couple of days: the first day is dedicated to visit the city, see views from the towers, etc ... The feeling to look up and see the mountains that you see no end is indescribable, and that feeling can not be captured in a photo, just stays etched in your memory. The second day we hiked to our air, we climbed to the top of Patcherskofel (2300 m), and from there visited 4 or 5 charming villages, very flowery (the houses are covered with flowers of all colors), gorgeous environments, and all very well connected for walking (also can acquire the Innsbruck Card for a very cheap price, I think it was less than 20 euros, and you can use all kinds of transportation, such as cable cars, gondolas, trams, buses, etc. ...) Highly recommended

    a surprise!

So is this beautiful city in Austria, an Olympic village and also the capital of the region of Tirol. Upon arrival you receive a nice colorful image along the river Inn, backdrop of snow-capped peaks throughout the day were changing, with light sunset sunset. Innsbruck "bridge over the Inn" with its bridge develops a nice elongated navideo market worth visiting in the pequeos appointment or stalls stalls charming Tyrolean specialties are given for both food as a quaint restaurant at the time to taste the unique specialty "salmon grilled to read, right there by the river! is charming in its simplicity. Its so decorated cookies or warm wine, letting go is find with endless possibilities of memories, fancy given at the time the visit, the penalty was so brief. Surrounded by stunning mountains, dotted with pretty villages and picturesque rooftops.

    Houses near the river Inn

    Casas cerca del río Inn

    Excellent
In Innsbruck, on the banks of the river of the same name can be found an interesting contrast between the snowy mountains, painted houses and the blue of the river Inn.

But I want to step back !!

    De paso pero quiero volver!!

    Excellent
I spent a lot less time than I would have liked in Innsbruck but definitely recommend. Spectacular scenery, for ski lovers I imagine it must be wonderful and the city is the perfect size to provide the visitor with all the necessary services without being overly noisy. Twice host the Winter Olympics, streets and manicured lawns, clean .... Since there is little you can make trips to many places.

The old town of Innsbruck is very...

The old town of Innsbruck is very small, there are only five streets that form a small circle. There is many stores that sell absolutely useless things, and it may also be what makes the charm of this place. The area has retained its medieval appearance and cars can not enter the old city.
