The only attraction that comes to mind when you think of Indianapolis is this famous oval circuit, which hosts the most famous motor race in the world: the 500 miles. Other competitions are also held, from NASCAR events to Formula 1. The giant speedway enclosure is located in an Indianapolis suburb called Speedway, which is quite accessible by car, and there is also a Hall of Fame museum. On the walls, there are bronze plaques of all the winners of the Indy 500. Apart from the honors section, in which you can see some of the most famous names in Formula 1, such as Emerson Fittipaldi. The museum houses many pieces about the eventful history of this circuit, including lots of vintage automobiles.
