a typical Myanmar village
Inle Lake North is the village of Indein. It is a typical Myanmar village, with its main river, its shops and its ruins. The people currently live by farming and tourism. In 1990 this area was opened up. Before then it was tightly closed to tourism. The landscape and the people are full of color. It's all an experience. It is a pleasure to walk around its corners, seeing the river, seeing how the people wash and bathe, as well as taking a tea in one of its many bars overlooking the river. I'm posting some pictures of the people and a video that I hope will be to your liking.
