In Memoriam

To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the armistice, the Imperial War Museum in London is organizing a major exhibition telling personal stories of those who lived, fought and died during the First World War. Only three English soldiers are still alive. Not to forget the tragic events of the Great War, the museum endeavored to collect the most complete information before no witnesses are available any longer. The exhibition features testimonials of people who lived with the threat of German invasion as well as those who went to fight in the war. The red poppy, symbol of the exhibition is also the symbol by which those who died during the First World War are remembered.
