Market is lively

Imouzzer is a village 60 kilometres from Agadir, in the lower Atlas mountains. It's a very remote and traditional village, and to get there, you have to take a shared taxi with other people that costs 30DH. The easiest day to go is Thursday because it's market day. It can be difficult to find transport on other days. Travel agencies in Agadir organize trips to Imouzzer, but they normally cost 250DH. Next door, there are beautiful waterfalls and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. On the way, there are several rural hotels, some with charming mountain views, and several hotels and restaurants in Imouzzer.

You can go for a day from Agadir, but if you want to hike, two or three days are preferable. The market is lively and the people from the surrounding areas come there on donkeys to sell their meat and vegetables.
