Imbiss Am Zoo

The Imbiss is a fast food restaurant chain found in every corner of Berlin. In general all serve a basic meal, fried and not the healthiest, but it is good and very cheap. The specialty is currywurst. It is found mostly in Berlin and is a bratwurst sausage cut into pieces and served with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and curry powder with paprika. Apparently a delicacy that American GI's, who liberated the city after the Second World War, much appreciated. Then you have the Bratwurst, always ask you if you want it with or without skin, you get a toothpick to eat and does not come on a plate but in a carton.
