Making a pizza is easy in theory but it is very difficult to find a place where you can get a good pizza - if they don't skimp on the ingredients, the dough is too thick and gooey or sometimes you find strange inventions that are inedible. I remember having one pizza that was dusted with Maldon salt, another that was burned ..... Last week I discovered "Il Patriarca", a place where one can enjoy a good pizza in Salou. The oceanfront restaurant is on Paseo Miramar, with terrace dining where you can enjoy your meal while watching the beautiful landscape. It is a very welcoming place. We ordered a pizza and steak.
The service was friendly and fast and the pizza was perfect, with the right amount of ingredients on a thin dough. The steak, I did not try, but my companion said that it was perfect. The prices were very reasonable. They told us that they also do pizzas to go, so I will definitely be trying them again!
