Un giardino pervaso dall'amore per il passato, in cui trovare mille cespugli di rose antiche, pini secolari, vestigia etrusche e romane che appaiono e scompaiono nella vegetazione, a testimoniarne il passaggio, tutto in una ampia tenuta alle pendici dei monti della Tolfa, di proprietà della famiglia Patrizi dal Cinquecento. Oggi l'area vive una nuova veste paesaggistica, grazie all'intervento della marchesa Umberta Patrizi, appassionata di rose, ammirabili in una festa a loro dedicata ogni anno a maggio. Ma il posto, in un'atmosfera che sembra ferma nell'età di mezzo, si può apprezzare in ogni stagione su prenotazione. Così, si potrà gustare uno spazio in cui la natura sembra quasi "addomesticata" dalla mano umana, che ne ha saputo valorizzare gli elementi più incantevoli e scenografici. Le rose che si arrampicano sulle vecchie mura sapientemente restaurate, le siepi di mirti, lavande, erbe aromatiche che espandono nell'aria le loro fragranze, sotto l'occhio maestoso e attento della vecchia pineta.
