If visiting the city of Rome, and you have some spare time to eat something other than the typical traditional Italian food, and want to surprise someone with a wonderful panoramic view of the eternal city I recommend this restaurant. It has a fantastic view of the sun if you go at lunch time or a view of thousands of lights if you go at night. It's great if you like trying new and modern things, since the menu is completely new, and changes with the seasons. The presentation of the dishes is excellent, with a combination of flavors, aromas and colors, and the atmosphere is warm and elegant. The name, "il fungo" meaning fungus/mushroom in Italian, is due to the shape of the restaurant that is similar to this plant. The restaurant is located in the top part.
