Igreja Santo Antônio

A cidade de Bento Gonçalves é muito conhecida no cenário nacional pelos seus vinhos e derivados, bem como sua gastronomia, eventos e hospedagens. Além disso, é uma cidade histórica e de riquezas características. Uma das obras que carregam a história da cidade, fica no centro e é a Igreja de Santo Antônio. Fica numa região de muito movimento de carros e pessoas mas nada que atrapalhe a concentração dos fiéis e a poluição sonora dentro da igreja. Ela tem uma fachada linda e tem três acessos pela parte da frente. Duas portas um pouco menores que a do meio que é a principal e uma arquitetura linda e diferente. Sua altura chama a atenção. No dia em que a visitei, o altar principal estava em reforma de pinturas mas a estátua de Santo Antônio se destaca devido ao seu tamanho e pelas cores vivas e bem definidas. A igreja ostenta algumas colunas por entre as cadeiras dos frequentadores dividindo o corredor central em duas fileiras das outras duas laterais. Um lustre modesto porém bonito, decora a parte de cima desse corredor central. A imagem de Jesus Cristo na Cruz ao lado direito da entrada frontal tem destaque e na parte de baixo dela ficam folhetos.
