Igreja Nossa Senhora da Glória e Boa Morte

Uma das construções eclesiásticas mais recentes da célebre Cidade do Café (Bananal, que possui diversas igrejas, cada uma com sua história e peculiaridades próprias), a Igreja Nossa Senhora da Glória e Boa Morte se destaca em um dos pontos mais altos da região central da cidade. A mesma se encontra um pouco afastada do centro histórico e fica no caminho de quem segue pela Rodovia dos Tropeiros. Datando sua construção no século XIX, esta capela que já passou por muitas reformas (o que pode ser observado na fachada, que lembra tempos mais modernos) é a maior da cidade, assim também, como pouco freqüentada pelo turista, já que não existem muitos pontos de interessa no entorna da mesma. Porém, durante o festival de Nossa Senhora da Glória o local enche de visitantes. A festa é realizada no mês de agosto, quando ocorrem shows e uma tradicional queima de fogos. A Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Glória e Boa Morte fica na Praça Nossa Senhora das Graças e geralmente só a vimos quando estamos saindo de Bananal através da Rodovia dos Tropeiros e vale a pena uma conferida, esteja você indo a um festival, ou apenas visitando a cidade.
